We are seeking a detail-oriented Survey CADD Technician to support land surveying projects by preparing accurate CAD drawings and processing survey data in collaboration with surveyors and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Create survey drawings using AutoCAD, Carlson, and Micro Station
- Interpret field notes, maps, and sketches
- Draft boundary, ALTA, topographic, and utility surveys
- Process field data and develop terrain models
- Review drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with as-built mapping and stakeout computations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and surveying software
- Knowledge of NYSDOT standards preferred
- Strong understanding of surveying principles and technical drawings
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
