The Role
We are partnering with our client to hire a Senior Bridge Design Structural Engineer for an immediate opening on their growing team. This role focuses on designing and producing structural plans for bridge and roadway projects, while working closely with internal teams and public agencies.
What We're Looking For- 5+ years working as a bridge designer
- NYS Professional Engineering License Preferred But Not Required
- Report writing skills
- Proficiency in Micro Station and/or AutoCAD
- B.S. Civil Engineering
- Familiar with New York State Department of Transportation specifications/BD Sheets
- Ability to design prestressed concrete or steel girder bridges according to NYS standards and codes
- Familiar with the LDSA process for working with local municipalities
- Ability to connect with and train Junior Bridge Engineers
