We are looking for a driven, collaborative, client‑focused Project Engineer to grow with our team in Albany
, NY field office. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce costs of delivering projects and add value to the business by applying proven project‑management techniques.
As a Project Engineer, you’ll work on active projects coordinating the progression of trades and design‑field staff. Based on site with our client, you’ll provide support to the Senior Project Manager with RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change‑order review, and payment review. Services also include assisting D&C or consulting with the PM or EIC with payment application review, writing meeting minutes of project meetings, preparing regular reports, field inspections as required, and other duties related to construction site activities.
You’ll be tasked with ensuring the project moves ahead to completion according to client standards. Through this role you will work on multiple fast‑moving projects and larger, long‑scheduled projects, leveraging your solid knowledge of project delivery across a diverse array of large and small programs. Your presence will monitor the activities of contractors and subcontractors performing craftwork to ensure QA/QC compliance and that project quality, safety, and security requirements are achieved.

Requirements- 3‑5 years of experience on larger projects valued above $10 million
- In‑depth knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change‑order review and payment review
- Knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction delivery systems and components
- Experience or comparable training in inspecting large‑scale building construction projects
- Knowledgeable and experienced with the Uniform Building Code
- Proficient in basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office applications and scheduling applications
- Possess an OSHA 30 certification

The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
