Electrical Designer / Drafter – MEP
Immediate need for an Electrical Designer / Drafter with AutoCAD & Revit experience. Join a growing MEP team working on commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects.
We are looking for candidates with one or more years of experience in electrical drafting or electrical system design (ideal range: 3–5 years). This is a hands‑on role with real project responsibility and strong long‑term growth potential. Immediate project involvement, no “just drafting” bottleneck. Exposure to full design and construction lifecycle. Strong mentorship and technical development. Opportunity to grow into senior designer or engineering track for those who are interested.
- Produce electrical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit MEP (plans, risers, single‑liners)
- Support design of lighting, power, fire alarm, and life‑safety systems
- Assist with electrical calculations (load, voltage drop, lighting layouts)
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and plumbing teams
- Help ensure NEC/code compliance and energy documentation
- Perform site visits and field verification as needed
- Support construction phase (RFIs, submittals, field coordination)
- One to seven+ years in electrical drafting, MEP design, or electrical engineering
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, EET, CAD Drafting, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered
- Experience in AutoCAD + Revit MEP
- Working knowledge of NEC and basic electrical systems
- Understanding of power distribution, branch circuits, and load concepts
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, coordinated team environment
