Location: City of Albany
The Assistant Engineer (Environmental) position supports environmental engineering work for the New York Office of General Services, including design of water/wastewater treatment and distribution systems, preparation of engineering reports and drawings, and construction administration oversight. Based in Albany, this full-time role reports to licensed engineering staff and involves approximately 20% travel throughout the state.
Key Qualifications- Passed NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
- One year full-time qualifying engineering experience in sanitary, public health, or environmental engineering
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
