Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader Upstate New York | Permanent
Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary engineering firm with a strong presence in municipal and public infrastructure, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader to guide multidisciplinary projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client partnerships across the Municipal Infrastructure Market.
ResponsibilitiesLead planning, design and delivery of public infrastructure projects. Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff. Build strong relationships with municipal and state clients. Oversee project budgets, schedules and staffing. Provide QA/QC oversight on design deliverables. Lead business development, from proposals through to client presentations.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred). 15+ years in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management. Active PE licence in New York State (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Experience with public works contracts, including bidding, construction administration and contract compliance. Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, stormwater and water infrastructure design.
