Public Health Specialist Trainee 1 (Radiological Health), (NS – Grade 14): A qualifying bachelor’s degree*.

Public Health Specialist Trainee 2 (Radiological Health), (NS – Grade 16): A qualifying bachelor’s degree
* and one year of experience applying specialized knowledge in radiation protection.

Public Health Specialist 1 (Radiological Health), Grade 18: A qualifying bachelor’s degree
* and two years of experience applying specialized knowledge in radiation protection.

A master’s degree in a related field can substitute for one year of experience; a doctorate can substitute for two years.
