Project Electrical Engineer

A multi-discipline consulting firm is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer with a focus on MEP system design and implementation for their growing team in Albany, New York! Responsibilities include managing MEP projects, coordinating MEP activities, developing MEP system designs, reviewing/approving shop drawings, facilitating integration of various MEP systems, assisting in the architectural application of electrical engineering, using knowledge of building codes/regulations, participating in design development, creating electrical specification packages, verifying design compliance, assisting with business development, performing field inspections, communicating with clients, providing expert guidance on MEP solutions, leading development of construction documents, building/maintaining client relationships, and mentoring/training junior staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline, 5+ years of consulting and design experience with a focus on MEP and power system design and implementation, PE License preferred, proficiency in relevant MEP design software, strong project management skills, and the ability to mentor and supervise junior level staff. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
