Location: City of Albany
The Assistant Engineer (Environmental) position supports environmental engineering work for the New York Office of General Services. Responsibilities include assisting with the design of water and wastewater treatment systems, preparing technical reports and drawings, coordinating with other disciplines, and providing construction administration.
The role is based in Albany and requires travel approximately 20% of the time.
Key qualifications:- Pass the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- One year of full-time experience in sanitary, public health, or environmental engineering
- Valid New York State Driver's License or ability to meet transportation needs
- Capacity for approximately 20% travel
