The LiRo Group seeks a Geotechnical Engineer for its Division of Environmental Programs, Design & Construction. In this role, you will plan and perform subsurface investigations, analyze soil and rock properties, and develop foundation and earthwork recommendations for transportation, infrastructure, and building projects. You'll prepare technical reports and calculations, support construction with field observations and submittal reviews, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a culture that values technical excellence, integrity, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform geotechnical site investigations and subsurface explorations
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data to support foundation and earthwork design
- Prepare geotechnical reports, calculations, and design recommendations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design and construction teams
- Support construction phase services, including submittal review and field observation
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
- Contribute to risk assessments and development of mitigation strategies
- Participate in client meetings and present technical findings
