- Location: Picotte Garage - Albany, NY 12210
- Pay: $17.50 / hour
- Shift: Day Shift, Monday – Friday (Open availability during daytime hours required)
- Job Type: Temporary / Seasonal (3–4 Months)
Are you energetic, alert, and love staying active during the workday? We are looking for a reliable Traffic Control & Parking Attendant to join our team for a crucial 3‑to‑4‑month seasonal project.
What You’ll Do- Direct the Flow: Safely and efficiently direct incoming and outgoing vehicular traffic through the garage during renovation phases.
- Be the Guide: Assist drivers in navigating temporary detours, closed sections, and finding available parking spaces.
- Safety First: Monitor the garage area to ensure pedestrians and drivers are maintaining safety protocols around construction zones.
- Customer Service: Greet drivers with a friendly attitude, answer quick questions, and provide a welcoming environment despite the construction hustle.
- Team Communication: Work closely with the Site Supervisor and renovation crews to adjust traffic patterns as needed throughout the day.
- Availability: Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
- Stamina & Alertness: Ability to stand for extended periods and stay sharp, focused, and visible to moving vehicles.

Clear, confident, and polite communication style (hand signals and verbal directions). - Weather Resilient: Comfortable working in a garage environment that is subject to seasonal outdoor weather conditions.
