Salary Range

Supports all aspects of budget development and annual budget process. Maintains budget versus actual reporting and position control roster.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
- Three years budgeting or accounting related experience required with two years academic health science center experience preferred.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database maintenance required.
- Supports all aspects of budget development and annual budget process. Maintains budget versus actual reporting and position control roster.
- Develops and maintains Strata Jazz databases.
- Develops salary budget models and databases for all entities.
- Supports center wide fringe rate determination.
- Develops Excel worksheets and schedules for annual budget process.
- Analyzes actual performance against budget, routinely and through special analytics.
- Manages and reconciles approved FTES in Human Resources system, Workday.
- Manages and oversees staffing reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Data analysis requiring querying and extracting data from various financial sources.
- Maintenance and analysis relating to the Manual of Financial Relationships and interinstitutional calculations.
- Interacts with all levels of Albany Medical Center management, up to and including Executive Vice Presidents.
- Communicates with external consultants as required.
