Temporary Assistance Specialist 1 G-18
This Temporary Assistance Specialist 1 G-18 position is located in the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Bureau within the Employment and Income Support Programs (EISP) area. Job duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Conduct on-site reviews, produce monitoring reports of local district HEAP operations;
- Provide technical and program support to local districts, including on-site assistance;
- Prepare written correspondence;
- Participate in the development and delivery of training materials and other presentations;
- Act as a liaison to local districts;
- Participate in development of HEAP policy and procedures;
- Assist in other projects, such as vendor agreement oversight, cooling component monitoring, etc. as assigned;
- Provide data analysis of HEAP program spending and take-up usage, preparation of Federal and State reports; and draft spending projections;
- Monitor Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Block Grant funding.
A full-time, permanent or contingent permanent appointment will be made. This position may require up to 30% travel. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
