Maternal Mortality Review Initiative Coordinator

This position is located in the Bureau of Perinatal, Reproductive, and Sexual Health's Perinatal Regionalization Unit. In addition to unit and bureau leadership, this position will work with the Division of Family Health's Medical Director and the Bureau of Data Analytics, Research, and Evaluation. The successful applicant will support the Program Coordinator of the Maternal Mortality Review Initiative. In this role, the incumbent will assist with the coordination and facilitation of the NYS Maternal Mortality Review Board and Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Advisory Council meetings, including preparing agendas, presentations, and other meeting materials.

Additionally, they will assist in program and fiscal management of any subcontracts associated with the program, and assist in drafting grant applications, reports and other documents related to the program. Travel, including overnight travel and travel to areas inaccessible by public transportation may be required as part of this position.

Full-time, permanent position. Transfer candidates may be asked for the last four digits of their social security number to verify eligibility. Position may be filled at a trainee level (equated to Grades 14/16), or Grade 18, depending on qualifications of the candidate.
