Description:

Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist II for a contract opportunity in Albany, NY. This position requires advanced surgical experience across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgery
. The Surgical Technologist II performs technical support in the operating room, ensuring all instruments, implants, and equipment are correctly prepared and maintained. This role may include on-call coverage as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in set-up, instrumentation, and intraoperative support for surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures.
• Accurately document instruments, sponges, and implants.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Adhere to hospital, department, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) –
  Required at submission
• 2+ years surgical tech experience –
  Required
• Strong multi-specialty experience (Cardiac, Neuro, Thoracic, Ortho, Vascular) –
  Required
• Previous travel experience – Preferred
