Salary Range:$78,773.63 - $The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for all management functions related to the collection of all claims billed to insurance for Albany Medical Center.

The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for all management functions related to the collection of all claims billed to insurance for Albany Medical Center.

The Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing staff.  The manager will also have daily external contact with Federal/State agencies and third-party payers. The manager will play an active role in all monthly scheduled department and/or payor meetings. Each month, the manager will complete an analysis of open accounts and denials as well as work with the departments as necessary to reduce future denials.  

The manager will serve as the knowledge resource for all billing questions posed by the team and executive leadership.
