Job Description :
Pay Range: $35hr - $41hr
- Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with one year of post-bachelor’s experience in Social Work.
- Excellent telephone, listening, and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with complex data entry systems.
- Experience in complaint intake, case management, or investigative support preferred.
- Experience interpreting laws and regulations related to adult care or assisted living facilities preferred.
- Experience preparing written correspondence and reports.
- Receive and document complaints related to Adult Care Facilities.
- Triage complaints and assign them to the appropriate regional office or oversight agency.
- Enter relevant information into a centralized complaint and incident tracking system.
- Screen complaints to determine severity and finalize initial reports within established timelines.
- Contact complainants to obtain additional information as needed.
- Prepare and send correspondence regarding complaint disposition.
- Respond to general inquiries regarding the complaint process.
- Participate in daily case reviews and process improvement activities.
- Assist in preparing management reports.
- Participate in training and continuing education activities.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Effective decision-making and time management abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Complaint intake and triage.
- Data entry and case documentation.
- Regulatory interpretation and compliance awareness.
- Written and verbal communication.
- Time management and organization.
