Job Description :
Pay Range: $35hr - $41hr

Requirement/Must Have
  • Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with one year of post-bachelor’s experience in Social Work.
  • Excellent telephone, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with complex data entry systems.
Experience
  • Experience in complaint intake, case management, or investigative support preferred.
  • Experience interpreting laws and regulations related to adult care or assisted living facilities preferred.
  • Experience preparing written correspondence and reports.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and document complaints related to Adult Care Facilities.
  • Triage complaints and assign them to the appropriate regional office or oversight agency.
  • Enter relevant information into a centralized complaint and incident tracking system.
  • Screen complaints to determine severity and finalize initial reports within established timelines.
  • Contact complainants to obtain additional information as needed.
  • Prepare and send correspondence regarding complaint disposition.
  • Respond to general inquiries regarding the complaint process.
  • Participate in daily case reviews and process improvement activities.
  • Assist in preparing management reports.
  • Participate in training and continuing education activities.
