Certifications:

Must obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Description:

Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals.
They perform diagnostic examinations at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist.
These examinations occur during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and/or peripheral vascular study procedures.
Through subjective data collection and recording, the technologist obtains information.
This information allows for a correct anatomical and physiological diagnosis to be established for each patient.
Effective 1/11/2024, local candidates from specific ineligible counties are no longer accepted.
Call commitment is 1 week night and 1 weekend per month.
A minimum of an Associate Degree is required or graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or an accredited Allied Health Program.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty.
There is an expectation to float to other units as needed.
