Role Overview:
The position involves managing registration and scheduling for complex patients, updating system records, preparing disability and out-of-work/school documentation, and explaining financial and regulatory information to patients. It requires working across multiple systems during patient interactions to support clinical workflow and ensure an optimal patient experience.
Responsibilities:Support department policies, promote patient and employee safety, and uphold organizational principles. Act as a representative of the healthcare system, embodying guiding principles and ensuring compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:High school diploma or G.E.D. required; 2-3 years office or medical practice experience preferred. Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office is a plus. Must possess excellent customer service, multitasking, time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Physical &Working Conditions:
Primarily sitting with occasional standing, walking, and handling tasks. Work involves repetitive motions, constant talking, hearing, and frequent use of eye/hand/foot coordination. Conditions are generally stable with occasional exposure to noise and environmental changes.
