Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist works toward filling Care Design NY’s and Partnership Solutions' recruiting needs for multiple locations throughout New York State. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and screening candidates for all positions within the organization.

Responsibilities- Partnering with hiring managers to fill needed roles
- Sourcing candidates and screening resumes
- Using social media to promote job opportunities and attract candidates
- Promoting candidate referrals via the current employee base
- Performing in-person, video, and phone interviews with candidates
- Administering appropriate organizational and skills assessments
- Requesting employment, reference, and background checks
- Making recommendations to hiring managers
- Following up on the interview process status
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure staffing goals are achieved
- Communicating employer information and benefits during the screening process
- Making changes to advertising postings based on new recruiting needs or recently filled positions
- Attending and sponsoring job fairs, open interview sessions, and other public events for recruiting purposes
- Making connections with colleges and universities to promote job opportunities
- Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
- Completing timely reports on employment activity
- An associate degree with 5+ years of recruiting experience
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; BS in Business with 3+ years of recruiting experience is preferred.
- Those with experience in the field of developmental disabilities
- Those with SHRM-CP Certification
- Those with multiple language skills
- Those with in-house recruiting responsibilities
