This role focuses on Quality Assurance testing for a large-scale eligibility and human services system. The Tester Level 2 will work closely with the QA Lead to ensure software quality through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests.
- Conduct defect resolution, tracking, and reporting.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance, and vulnerability testing.
- Adhere to IES program-level QA processes, tools, and artifacts.
- Assist in schedule and effort estimations.
- Report project progress, issues, risks, mitigations, and lessons learned.
- Work with blended teams of State and vendor resources.
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience as a Tester.
- 4–7 years managing QA/testing across multiple high-profile projects with complex functional domains in a matrix organization.
- 4–7 years of experience with test automation (framework building, scripting, execution, and reporting).
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years developing test plans, test cases, and automated tests in Agile/Scrum environments.
- 4–7 years leading functional test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
- 4–7 years using automated testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, or similar.
- 4–7 years using Jira, Xray Test Management, or related plugins for defect tracking/test management.
- 4–7 years programming experience in JavaScript or similar for automated test scripts.
- 1+ year QA experience in Human Services domain applications.
- 2–4 years of Business Analysis experience (requirements gathering, documentation, business process flows, use cases, rules catalogs, data dictionaries).
- Ability to develop automated test scripts and test frameworks.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work within project timelines and priorities.
- Experience coordinating with both State and vendor teams in a hybrid work environment.
