Qualifications

• 84 months experience with a Government Taxation organization, which includes technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex Tax Accounting Systems.
• 84 months experience with COBOL programming in an IBM Mainframe Environment.
• 36 months experience with IBM DB2 for LUW working with large databases (1TB and larger) and using XQuery.
• 84 months experience with IDMS and DMLO in a mainframe environment.
• 84 months experience with APS (Application Productivity System) and CICS in a mainframe environment.
• 84 months experience with IBM MQ Series.
• 84 months experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS working with complex database structures.
• 84 months experience with IBM MVS JCL in a mainframe environment.
• 84 months experience with TSO in a mainframe environment.
• 84 months of application performance analysis and tuning experience.

Project: NYS Tax Modernization

This position will be in support of the NYS Tax Modernization Program and will be responsible for playing a lead role in the Integrated Account System (IAS) Modernization project. This program will encompass multiple projects to modernize legacy systems within the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the major areas under this modernization include Collections and Accounts Receivable, and Taxpayer Accounting.

IAS Modernization includes converting the existing legacy mainframe systems onto new platforms. This position will actively participate in design, development, conversion, and testing activities.
