Sourcing & Procurement Management Consultant - NASPFY

About the Role

This role can sit anywhere in the US as long as it is near an Accenture Corporate Office.

We are an accelerated Sourcing & Procurement group that moves fast, thinks fast, and works fast to help our clients deliver major leaps forward in cost‑out, strategic category management, and procurement operations. Our work harnesses functional insights, data power, digital leadership, and extensive industry know‑how.

• Solving challenging problems and applying creativity and innovation
• Creating robust sourcing strategies and cost‑out recommendations
• Driving category insights, analysis, and benchmarking
• Building and reviewing robust analytics models via Excel, Alteryx, and SQL
• Synthesizing disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
• Working with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
• Nurturing relationships with client stakeholders
• Facilitating development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of client project work and deliverables
• Developing presentations and key deliverables to support decision making
• Communicating findings and recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders
• Achieving excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives

Travel is required for this role and could vary from 10–50%.

• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs
• Minimum 2.5 years of experience developing and executing cost‑optimization strategies
• Strong acumen surrounding problem solving and data analytics tools (Excel, Alteryx, SQL, R, Power BI); experience developing complex models with advanced functions and demonstrating ability to QA models and build executive‑ready dashboards
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience

• Management consulting experience with a well‑regarded firm (strongly preferred)
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance‑driven environment with a capacity for innovation and process improvement
• Demonstrated abilities in problem solving and independent decision‑making capabilities
• Ability to take on multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self‑starter mindset and bias toward proactively taking initiative to learn, grow, and advance projects
• Experience utilizing AI (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) for advanced analytics, coding, process automation, app development, and/or statistical modeling
• Prior experience driving insights using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
• Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
