About the Role
Within Accenture's Utilities Practice, we help retail energy and utility providers with digital customer engagement and operations, connected energy services and customer platforms. Transmission & distribution (T&D) organizations must innovate, invest strategically, and modernize infrastructure to balance supply and demand, optimize assets and teams, and drive towards net‑zero emissions.
We work with C‑suite executives, leaders and boards to reinvent every part of their enterprise, implementing operational improvements, reducing cost and delivering sustainable stakeholder value.
You AreA utility industry professional with experience supporting digital transformation and enterprise asset management initiatives within transmission and distribution environments. You bring curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong foundation in utility processes such as asset health, maintenance and lifecycle performance. You are interested in new technologies—including data analytics, automation and AI‑enabled solutions—to modernize asset management and improve operational outcomes. You enjoy collaborating, are eager to grow consulting skills, and are motivated to continuously learn and become a future leader in utilities consulting.
Responsibilities- Support delivery of enterprise asset management (EAM) transformation initiatives for utilities clients, including T&D organizations.
- Contribute to assessments, planning, design, and implementation of asset management and work management solutions.
- Help analyze client challenges and translate them into actionable recommendations and business outcomes.
- Work closely with senior team members to deliver functional and technology solutions aligned to utilities asset lifecycle management.
- Apply emerging technologies, analytics and automation concepts to improve asset performance and maintenance strategies.
- Develop trusted working relationships with clients and internal teams, contributing to collaborative problem solving.
- Support development of presentations, analyses and deliverables for both strategy and implementation efforts.
- Continuously build industry and technical expertise while progressing toward leadership responsibilities.
- Travel for client work as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in utilities (gas and/or electric), consulting or related industry roles.
- Experience supporting enterprise asset management systems or processes (e.g., IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, SAP PM or similar).
- Exposure to asset management, maintenance or work management processes within utilities environments.
- For managers: at least two years of experience in a functional consulting role at a leading professional services firm.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within team‑based environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with structured thinking.
- Interest in technology‑enabled transformation and information systems environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly.
- Desire to grow into leadership and delivery responsibilities over time.
