STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a People Soft Administrator on behalf of our client in Albany, NY to support a large-scale enterprise learning management environment. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong expertise in People Soft infrastructure, administration, upgrades, and system support. The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise People Soft environments while contributing to modernization efforts and technical architecture initiatives.

• Design, implement, and document People Soft infrastructure architecture aligned with best practices for upgrades and system enhancements.

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support People Soft software components, including application servers, middleware, search technologies, and database systems.

• Perform administration, maintenance, and operational support for both new and existing People Soft environments.

• Lead infrastructure planning and provide technical guidance to support business and system requirements.

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

• Support system upgrades, patching, code migrations, and environment refresh activities.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical and configuration issues across the platform.

• Assist with modernization initiatives while supporting legacy People Soft environments.

• Develop technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• 7+ years of experience administering Oracle People Soft HR/HCM 9.x or higher environments.

• Strong experience with People Tools 8.49+, including installation, configuration, upgrades, tuning, and patching.

• Hands‑on experience performing People Soft application and People Tools upgrades using PUM and Change Assistant

• Extensive experience with Unix/Linux/Solaris environments
  , including installation, tuning, patching, upgrades, and code migration activities.

• Experience supporting middleware technologies such as Web Logic and Tuxedo
  , including troubleshooting, configuration, and high‑availability environments.

• Strong experience with Oracle Database administration in support of People Soft environments.

• Expertise in enterprise infrastructure architecture, troubleshooting, and operational support.

• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

• Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise or public sector environments.

• Exposure to modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong documentation, communication, and knowledge‑sharing skills.

• Experience working in security, compliance‑driven environments.
