Job Description

Project/Program:

EIM/Business Intelligence-Patient Systems and various OMH projects as needed within the agency.

This position serves as an OBIEE 12c/OAS/Power BI, IT Specialist, and support the staff for the Office of Mental Health. This position also supports R&D efforts development of new OBIEE 12c/OAS executive dashboards, analytics and BI Publisher.

Day-to-day Tasks:

Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:

Participate in a team approach to:

• Analyze and develop OBIEE 12c/OAS technical solutions. Complete requirements analysis, capture and document the customer's business and technical needs
• Research and recommend technology to improve the current OBIEE systems.

  3. Contribute to the design and implementation of the metadata and/or reporting components of the solution (building and/or modifying OBIEE 12c/OAS Repositories) including testing and deployment of the components
• Building a business and presentation layer within OBIEE 12c/OAS to meet the business requirements of the project.
• Create reports and graph dashboards using OBIEE 12c/OAS, incorporating into Oracle Web Center as necessary, to meet the business requirements of the project.
• Develop Reports in BI Publisher and integrate with OBIEE Dashboard.
• Develop Power BI reports and publish to Workspace.
• Configure and administer Web Logic Server.
• Perform unit testing on all code changes.

Mandatory Qualifications:

IT Specialist-

Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.

Senior:

60 - 84 months:
Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others.

May have an advanced education.

Requested Qualifications:

• 60 Months Experience in OBIEE 12c/OAS catalog development, MUDE repository development.
• 60 Months Experience with Oracle 10/11G/19 databases, Oracle Data Warehouse Data Marts and Complex SQL Query coding.
• 48 Months Experience with configuring OBIEE Weblogic Server
• 48 Months Experience in BI Publisher integrated development with OBIEE Dashboard.
• 24 Months Development experience in Power BI reports and paginated reports.
• 60 Months Experience with System & Data Analysis, Application Design & Dimensional and Data Modeling with Design, and Documentation
• 60 Months Experience Implementing application roles from a database table and applying the user roles in dashboard.
• 60 Months Experience working with PL/SQL, SQL Query Performance tuning.
