Provide high‑level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Design multi‑level architecture or component interactions of a large‑scale software system. Provide Application Development support for current People Soft SLMS and suggested enhancements as part of the projects above.

• Research, document and guide the People Soft Application Development team based on People Soft best practices for implementing application enhancements.
• Provide technical direction to meet business needs.
• Work with other agencies and technical support teams to pursue technically excellent solutions.
• Produce technically excellent solutions architecture aligned to business needs and direction.
• Research, resolve, and test configurations.
• Support the proposed People Soft enhancement project as required.
• Report any roadblocks or technology gaps to Project Management in order to fit all current‑state functionality in the new to‑be design.

84+ months experience: candidate provides guidance to large teams and / or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of their field.

• 84 months experience writing Bash and Korn Shell scripting code to meet project requirements.
• 84 months experience navigating and traversing Linux environments from a command line interface.
• 72 months experience implementing batch processing solutions using Shell scripting to automate system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations (e.g., file manipulation, printing and emailing).
• 72 months experience conducting requirement analysis and strategic analysis to drive the design, development, testing, and implementation of batch processes.
• 60 months experience leading small development teams in an agile project environment.
• 36 months experience utilizing SQL Plus client to execute SQL logic in a UNIX/Linux environment.
