Service Desk Technician
Albany, NY
Contract | 6-Month Minimum with Possible Extension
OverviewFirst point of contact for employee technology support via phone, portal, and in-person channels.
Schedule Options- 4 openings: 7A-4P | 10:30A-7P (last 2 hrs remote) | 8A-5P
- One Saturday/month | Occasional late shift coverage
- Triage and resolve incidents in Jira Service Management
- Password resets, account unlocks, and access support
- Troubleshoot virtual desktops, VPN, MFA, printers, and endpoints
- Support Microsoft productivity tools and line-of-business applications
- Escalate unresolved issues with thorough documentation
- 1-2 years help desk or desktop support experience
- Experience with Jira Service Management, Service Now, Zendesk, or comparable ticketing system
- Knowledge of Active Directory and/or cloud-based identity management
- Strong troubleshooting across virtual desktops, VPN, and MFA
Contract position based out of Albany, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
