Systems Architect – Salesforce Consultant

Defines the architecture of a computerized system (software and hardware) to fulfill requirements, including system breakdown into components, component interactions and interfaces (including user interface), and technologies/resources used in design.

• Client Interaction & Requirements Gathering
• Meetings with clients:
  Participating in discovery sessions, status updates, workshops, and Q&A sessions.
• Gathering business requirements:
  Eliciting needs from stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and observation.
• Documenting requirements:
  Creating user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Presenting solutions:
  Explaining proposed Salesforce configurations or customizations to clients.
• Providing updates:
  Communicating progress, challenges, and next steps to clients and project managers.

• Configuring Salesforce:
  Setting up objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and automation (Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flow).
• Customizing Salesforce:
  Developing custom components, Apex code, Visualforce pages, or Lightning Web Components.
• Data management:
  Importing, exporting, cleansing, and migrating data.
• Building reports and dashboards:
  Creating and refining reports to meet client reporting needs.
• Testing configurations and code:
  Performing unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshooting issues:
  Investigating and resolving bugs or user-reported problems.

• Updating project management tools:
  Tracking tasks, progress, and time spent on activities.
• Collaborating with team members:
  Working with other consultants, developers, administrators, and project managers.
• Participating in team meetings:
  Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Reviewing work:
  Providing feedback on configurations or code developed by other team members.

• 60 Months of Experience in design, build, and deploy custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflow rules
• 60 Months of Experience in Salesforce automation tools such as Process Builder and Flow
• 60 Months of Experience in managing user profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing settings to ensure data security and access control
• 60 Months of Experience in creating and optimizing reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights
• 60 Months of Experience in the Salesforce App Exchange and the ability to recommend and integrate third-party solutions
• 60 Months of Experience in Salesforce data management best practices, including data loading, cleansing, and de-duplication
• 60 Months of Experience in Salesforce release cycles and the ability to adapt solutions to new features and functionalities
• 60 Months of Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom development
