People Soft Hcm Technical Architect
Location:
Albany, NY 12240 Duration: 2- 3 years Contract Position
Provide expert-level People Soft Application Architect and Development support to resolve backlogs and enhance the HCM system.
Day-to-Day Tasks To Be Performed By The Selected Candidate:The consultant must work within a designated team and coordinate with multiple developers in a technical team setting and perform expert-level People Soft Application Architect and Development Support tasks including:
- Develop complex People Soft programs and provide technical guidance to one or more developers and cross functional team members.
- Perform research and provide technical direction to meet business needs with a focus on the Human Capital Management module as well as People Soft Interaction Hub (Portal).
- Analyze and assess the need for customizations versus workaround with delivered functionality.
- Participate in Process Improvement work groups with customer agencies as needed
- Analyze, research, and document Business rules for legacy application functions.
- Write Structured Query Language (SQL) to be used to resolve data issues and diagnose problems
- Provide and implement recommendations for Security at the Interaction Hub level and user access level
- Produce documentation such as technical and functional documentation, job aids as well as detailed options documentation based on the requirements gathered from the customer.
- Provide support for environmental upgrade activities.
- Work in coordination with customers to resolve user-based issues.
- Assist with end user training efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience developing customizations, interfaces, and programs in a People Soft environment developing with People Tools
- 84 months of experience customizing with People Code and other People Soft objects using People Soft Application Designer.
- 84 months of experience using SQL against an Oracle relational database to support People Soft related tasks working in a UNIX environment.
- 84 months of experience developing using People Soft Integration Broker.
- 84 months of experience programming within People Soft Human Capital Management (HCM) version 9.2.
- 84 months of experience working with People Soft Security.
- 84 months of experience using Workflow configuration with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- 84 months of experience programming with People Soft Interaction Hub 9.1
