OverviewWe are seeking a Senior QA / UAT Analyst who will support our NYS client. The selected candidate will validate new system functionality, data migration, integrations, reporting, security/access roles, workflows, and user experience prior to go-live. This role will coordinate testing activities, support UAT cycles with business users, track defects, and help ensure production readiness for a successful implementation.
Duties- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation for new system functionality.
- Validate application workflows, reporting outputs, data migration results, integrations, and security/access role behavior.
- Support functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate business users through UAT cycles, collect testing feedback, document issues, and confirm acceptance criteria.
- Track, triage, retest, and report defects through resolution while supporting go-live readiness validation.
- 5+ years of software quality assurance/testing experience; developing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and defect tracking processes.
- Experience supporting functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience validating application workflows, security/access roles, reporting, data migration, and integrations.
- Ability to coordinate business users through UAT cycles and production readiness validation.
- Experience with Agile delivery and testing methodologies.
- Experience testing public-sector application portals, workflow systems, funding application platforms, or grant management systems.
- Experience supporting production readiness, go-live validation, and cross-functional testing coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
