PeopleSoft FSCM System Administrator

Description

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for People Soft FSCM System Administrator in Albany, NY. Current Financials system is running on People Soft Financials 9.1 and People Tools 8.53. The current People Tools version is unsupported and needs an upgrade to latest People Tools version 8.61x and the application also needs to be upgraded to People Soft financials and supply chain management (FSCM) 9.2 to regain the support and run a stable platform for business continuity.

This position will help with People Soft upgrade activities as well as post‑production support activities. Post‑production activities will include future PUM upgrades as well.

• Research, document, and guide the People Soft infrastructure design/layout based on People Soft best practices for implementation on upgrade.
• Support installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of People Soft (Web Logic, Tuxedo, Open Search, Oracle database) for new People Soft required environments with latest technology stack.
• Provide technical direction to meet business needs.
• Develop technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction.
• Research, resolve, and test configurations.
• Provide research, analysis and People Soft application support for the current legacy People Soft applications.
• Support the proposed People Soft upgrade project as required.
• Perform routine PUM upgrades as needed.
• Patch security vulnerabilities to the system.
• Perform People Tools and Web Logic patching.

• Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms – beyond that of a programmer.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months of system administration experience in Oracle’s People Soft FSCM 9.1 or higher release. Duties included installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, and code migration in a Unix/AIX environment.
• 84 months of system administration experience utilizing People Soft People Tools 8.5 or higher, including installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration.
• 84 months of experience in performing People Tools and People Soft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools.
• 60 months of experience with Web Logic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrading, and high‑availability (HA).
• 60 months of experience with Oracle 12C or higher database releases in creating and maintaining People Soft databases.
