Overview

Client Systems Engineer at Netflix in New York. This role supports our global teams in managing endpoint devices via MDM platforms, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless technology experiences for employees.

Develop and maintain solutions for devices managed through the Endpoint Management platform. Automate device provisioning and lifecycle management via APIs, provide technical support for troubleshooting device issues, act as the MDM subject‑matter expert for cross‑functional teams, and apply enterprise policies and procedures to deliver reliable engineering outcomes.

Qualifications are categorized into essential and preferred skills.

• Experience managing a fleet of devices with MDM frameworks such as GoogleMDM, Jamf, or SimpleMDM.
• Hands‑on experience automating workflows via APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Swift, or Go).
• Debugging complex device‑control issues on phones, tablets, or ChromeOS devices.
• Strong communication skills to serve as the MDM subject‑matter expert with cross‑functional teams.
• Applying enterprise policies, processes, and procedures to deliver timely engineering initiatives.

• Experience managing a device fleet across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Endpoint management using Dev Ops principles.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of directory services (Google, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for customer engineering solutions and tools.

Hourly rate: $20–$30/hour. Compensation may vary by location and role responsibilities.
