Location: City of Albany
Business Systems Analyst position with the New York State Comptroller's Office of Retirement Services. The role serves as a liaison between stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for business process and system improvements, including requirements documentation, testing, training, and issue resolution. Candidates may be hired at the Trainee 1, Trainee 2, or full performance Business Systems Analyst 1 level depending on qualifications.
- Business analysis experience using elicitation techniques such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and document analysis
- Experience with business process improvement, process modeling, and fit-gap analysis
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years business analysis experience, or associate's degree with 4 years experience (requirements vary by level)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments and adapt to change
