Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Location: Albany, NY – 100% Onsite

Position Type: Long-Term Contract

Salary Range: $70/hr. on W2 without benefits

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Data Lake, Data Analytics, and Data Strategy solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in data architecture and a strong background in developing technology roadmaps, architecture frameworks, and mission-critical data platforms using Databricks and/or AWS
.

This role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to establish a strategic data architecture roadmap, develop reporting and analytics products, and create implementation frameworks to support multiple program work streams.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Lake, Data Analytics, or Data Strategy
  .
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable technical and data architectures.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps, implementation strategies, and project plans
  .
• Strong expertise in creating detailed architecture documentation, models, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Hands‑on experience implementing mission‑critical data systems using Databricks and/or AWS
  .
• Strong understanding of Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, and modern cloud data architectures.
• Experience delivering data solutions from initial requirements gathering through post‑production operations and support.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and technical writing skills.
