OverviewWe are seeking an iServer Administrator / Architect who will support our NYS client by administering and optimizing the iServer enterprise architecture repository and establishing the Medicaid enterprise metamodel. This role will align repository structures, architecture artifacts, and governance practices with standards such as TOGAF, Archi Mate, BPMN, MITA, and CMS compliance requirements while serving as the technical SME for repository integration, user enablement, and cross-team coordination.
Duties- Lead the setup, configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of the iServer repository, ensuring data integrity, security, availability, and effective repository organization.
- Establish and maintain repository structures, schemas, templates, and custom meta models that support and link Target Operating Models, BPMN-compliant process flows, and logical and physical application architecture artifacts.
- Align iServer repository content and enterprise architecture models with TOGAF, Archi Mate, BPMN, MITA, CMS compliance standards, and applicable architecture governance practices.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to manage and optimize the underlying repository database, including maintenance, backups, recovery, performance monitoring, tuning, scaling, and security controls.
- Integrate the iServer repository with enterprise systems and data sources and validate the deployment, integration, and effective utilization of supporting tools and applications.
- Establish architecture governance policies, repository configuration controls, modeling guidelines, and data quality practices, including regular audits and repository data cleansing.
- Serve as the primary iServer technical SME, coordinating with the Department and Orbus to provision and train project resources and support multi-vendor onboarding and cross-team synchronization.
- Create and maintain user documentation, reference guides, repository procedures, and iServer templates, and provide technical support and training to repository users.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, modeling leads, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to align repository capabilities and meta models with business and technical needs.
- Manage repository-related work activities, including planning, execution, progress monitoring, documentation, reporting, continuous improvement, and support for the enterprise tools strategy.
- 4+ years of experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining iServer repositories, including proven experience maintaining repository data integrity, security, and availability and applying repository organization and management best practices.
- 5+ years of intensive and progressive experience in design, architecture modeling and standards, and relevant tools such as iServer.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of structural architecture frameworks and modeling notations, including TOGAF, Archi Mate, and BPMN, to organize repository content effectively.
- Architecture modeling experience across domains, preferably within Medicaid or healthcare enterprises.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Master's degree.
- 2+ years of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst or developer for a large healthcare system.
- 3+ years of experience with Java, JEE, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with New York State systems such as eMedNY, NYSOH, and APD, and Medicaid frameworks including MITA and CMS compliance standards.
- Professional certification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF), Process Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Kanban), or Project Management.
