Location: City of Albany
The New York State Education Department's Office of Information Technology Services seeks an Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) to support Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams Phone, Teams, and related enterprise systems. The role involves administering and configuring Microsoft Teams services, developing Power Shell scripts and automation solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, contingent permanent position based in Albany, NY, with telecommuting allowed up to 50% bi-weekly.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science with 15 semester credit hours OR bachelor's degree with one year of IT experience
- One year of information technology experience
- Experience administering Microsoft Teams Phone, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Power Shell scripting and automation development skills
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
