Location: City of Albany
The Information Technology Specialist 3 (Programming) position supports the New York State Education Department's Office of Special Education and ACCES program. The incumbent will supervise a team of Regional Support Administrators, provide technical leadership across the state, and manage system automation using MECM, Power Shell, and Intune. Responsibilities include software deployment, hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining documentation for emerging technologies.
Key qualifications:- Five years of professional experience in computer programming involving planning, configuration, testing, implementation, and/or management of systems environment
- Bachelor's degree in any field with 15 semester credit hours in computer science and at least 9 in programming languages plus two years of computer programming experience
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Power Shell scripting, and Intune deployment
- Technical leadership and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and information technology trends
