- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Tester
2.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong experience testing Java- based applications, particularly Spring Boot microservices, understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems testing challenges, hands-on experience with API testing tools.
- One to five years of experience executing SQL queries for data validation (PostgreSQL preferred); test automation frameworks, defect tracking and test management tools, Git version control. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
Meets (Yes/No) If Meets identify Where, When and HOW, as applicable
- Experience with government or public sector projects, particularly child support or social services Systems
- Experience with performance/load testing tools
- Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, RDS, SQS, Cloud Watch) and testing cloud-deployed
applications
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes
- Experience with contract testing for microservices
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks; testing batch processing systems and scheduled jobs
- Experience with accessibility testing; monitoring and log analysis for defect investigation
(Cloud Watch, Splunk)
- Understanding of security testing fundamentals (OWASP)
- ISTQB or similar QA certification
