We are seeking a Software Architect for a contract position in Albany, New York, with an anticipated duration of 12 months or more.
Responsibilities- Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to large development teams
- Design and oversee client-server relational database applications
- Lead the development of complex SQL queries, reports, and data solutions
- Manage projects involving multiple developers and cross-functional teams
- Required
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, demonstrating senior-level expertise and recognition as a subject-matter expert in the field
- 7 years of hands-on experience developing client-server relational database applications using Power Builder
- 4 years of experience writing complex SQL queries and reports, including multiple JOINs, subqueries, conditional logic, and window functions
- 4 years of experience in data manipulation, data migration, and ETL script development
- 4 years of lead developer experience on projects with multiple developers or teams of four or more
