Experienced Insurance Broker – Commercial & Rural

Our client is a locally owned general insurance brokerage based in Albany and a proud member of NIBA and Steadfast. They specialise in business and rural insurance and are known for their professional advice and genuine personal service.

They are now seeking an experienced insurance broker who can step in and confidently take ownership of an established commercial and rural portfolio
.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of around 12 including claims support, commercial and domestic broking, trainees, and a Broker Operations Manager, with strong support from the Director.

• Service an existing commercial & rural portfolio (renewals, endorsements, adjustments, advice, and day-to-day client management)
• Manage a mix of clients including farmers, agribusiness, crop, local SMEs, not-for-profits, and associated domestic policies
• Work collaboratively with the broader broking/operations team to deliver high-quality client outcomes
• Support new business opportunities as they arise (not a KPI-heavy or sales-driven role)

• ASIC RG146 Tier 2 and Tier 1 – essential
• Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and/or QPIB – highly regarded
• Confidence working across a varied portfolio (commercial + incidental domestic)
• Excellent client service and relationship management skills (you’ll be trusted with an established book)
• Exposure to Winbeat, Office Tech and SCTP are ideal
