POSITION TITLE:
PRINCIPAL COURT ATTORNEY, COURT OF APPEALS JG: 31
LOCATION:
COURT OF APPEALS - 20 Eagle Street, Albany, NY 12207
BASE SALARY: $130,061
Responsibilities- Research and analyze complex legal issues presented in motions to the Court of Appeals.
- Review and analyze appellate records and briefs.
- Write and edit confidential legal memoranda.
- Prepare and edit confidential legal reports.
- Draft confidential opinions.
- Serve in a confidential capacity with substantial independence from supervision.
One year of experience in the Senior Court Attorney to Court of Appeals title; or equivalent legal experience.
