About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled U.S. Federal Tax Attorney to join its expanding and dynamic tax practice in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will possess five to fifteen years of experience advising on U.S. federal tax matters, particularly in connection with cross-border issues involving high-net-worth individuals and business entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal guidance on U.S. federal tax issues, including business and personal tax matters.
- Advise clients on cross-border tax matters, working with high-net-worth individuals, multinational public companies, privately held businesses, and emerging technology companies.
- Support venture capitalists, investors, business owners, and executives with tax planning and compliance.
- Collaborate with a team of tax professionals to deliver strategic tax solutions for both domestic and international clients.
- Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients receive accurate and timely advice.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction, with a preference for New York.
- 5-15 years of experience in U.S. federal tax law, with a focus on cross-border issues.
- Proven track record of advising high-net-worth individuals and business entities on complex tax matters.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
