$150,000 – $220,000 per year.

Job Details

We are seeking a senior‑level Cannabis Corporate and Transactions Attorney to support sophisticated cannabis operators and investors on complex business matters.

Responsibilities
  • Represent cannabis clients in corporate and commercial transactions, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, and commercial agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate operating agreements, shareholder agreements, contracts, and other core corporate documents.
  • Lead transactions and manage deal execution from structuring through close.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments specific to cannabis‑related transactions.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local cannabis laws and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas and industry professionals to deliver integrated legal solutions.
Qualifications
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in cannabis law, corporate law, or commercial transactions.
  • Direct cannabis law experience or a demonstrated, credible interest in the cannabis industry.
  • Experience serving as lead attorney on multiple corporate or business transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business judgment.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
