Job DetailsWe are seeking a senior‑level Cannabis Corporate and Transactions Attorney to support sophisticated cannabis operators and investors on complex business matters.
Responsibilities- Represent cannabis clients in corporate and commercial transactions, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, and commercial agreements.
- Draft and negotiate operating agreements, shareholder agreements, contracts, and other core corporate documents.
- Lead transactions and manage deal execution from structuring through close.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments specific to cannabis‑related transactions.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local cannabis laws and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas and industry professionals to deliver integrated legal solutions.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in cannabis law, corporate law, or commercial transactions.
- Direct cannabis law experience or a demonstrated, credible interest in the cannabis industry.
- Experience serving as lead attorney on multiple corporate or business transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and business judgment.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
