This position is onsite/in-person at the CDPHP Corporate Woods office (11 Corporate Woods, Albany, NY 1221)

Under general supervision of department management, the Print and Mail Associate may support one or more areas of Production Operations. Assignments are determined based on need.
Essential Accountabilities All Levels- Specific work activities are assigned daily based on work volumes and department need.
- Observes safety and housekeeping standards in work area. Maintains appropriate files, records and equipment manuals.
- Informs supervisor of equipment issues.

- Performs other functions as assigned by management.
- Provides accurate and timely processing of jobs to ensure adherence to federal and state mandated timelines, including adherence to USPS regulations.
- Performs duties of automated and manual insertion per documented procedures in priority order in accordance with job requests or job tickets.
- Receives and processes inbound mail and packages and distributes to designated locations.
- Performs fulfillment duties; processes incoming requests, packages and ships accordingly.
- Monitors and manages inventory of mailing supplies (ink, envelopes, postage, pallets, trays, sleeves, tubs, labels, etc.) and notifies supervisor when inventory demands.
- May operate corporate vehicle to make deliveries to designated locations. Loads, unloads, sorts, stages material for and at each location. Operation of the vehicle may require use of manual and/or electric pallet jacks.
- Responsible for vehicle cleanliness and reporting of any vehicle issues to assigned management.
- Retrieves mail from USPS on a daily basis to support timely processing.
- In accordance with established procedures, operates production printers and finishing equipment and maintains equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. Performs routine equipment maintenance such as adding toner and lubricant; contacts service to report any problems or to seek information.
- Reviews job requests and prints on a timely basis; includes use of cutsheet devices, laminator and die-press. Monitors the quality and completeness of jobs. Checks print quality and accuracy on a regular basis. Packages jobs, completes work orders, tickets, and delivery receipts as necessary and places in assigned areas.
- Equipment and Supplies:
- Cleans and maintains equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and updates maintenance logs.
- Monitors and manages inventory of print-related supplies such as paper, toner, developer, bindery and other machine-related supplies; orders and stocks as instructed by supervisor.
- Serves as a regional expert on all equipment including inserters, meters, printers, and finishing equipment. Capable of performing all aspects of equipment operation from basic through advanced.
- Serves as a regional expert on mail and print production software tools including DFWorks, Insite, Avanti Slingshot and Ricoh Process Director (RPD).
- Processes all complex print and mail jobs that are submitted.
- Assists in the preparation of reports, including but not limited to warehouse inventory, job requests, production volumes and postage utilization.
- Serves as go-to resource when management is offsite.

- High school diploma, vocational education, or GED required.
- Background in printing and/or mailing is helpful.
- Knowledge of the operation of computer workstations including software commands, touch screen or mouse, storage and manipulation of information.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
- Valid Class D driver's license and clean driving record.
- Five or more years of experience in production Print/Mail operations.
- Understanding of substrates and finishing operations preferred.
- Experience as a team lead in a production environment preferred.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
