Maintenance Mechanic $34.80 ability to earn up to 41.80

Location: Albany, NY

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team in Albany, NY 11pm to 7:30am. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs.
• Inspect machinery and identify opportunities for improvement and increased reliability.
• Install, align, adjust, and test new or repaired equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, GMPs, and company policies.
• Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, motors, drives, and controls.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods production.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move equipment and materials as needed
• 11pm to 7:30am
