You must be comfortable with:

Pressors (per protocol)

Antihypertensive, sedative & Narcan drips

Thrombolytics

A-lines, CVP

EVD

Ortho traction

HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP

Strict infection prevention

Acuity & Skills (High Bar)

This unit runs ICU-lite patients with true critical care elements

Common diagnoses

Respiratory failure, sepsis

Closed head injury, complex trauma

Multi-system organ dysfunction

Surgical complications

Must-Have Experience

Epic experience REQUIRED

ACLS

Minimum 2 years (realistically they want strong PCU or ICU
)

Comfort with high-acuity medical & surgical patients

Prior experience with pressors and invasive monitoring
