Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia post-surgery.
Assess vital signs, level of consciousness, and manage pain and nausea.
Provide critical post-op interventions and respond to complications if needed.
Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers.
Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge plans.
Ensure proper documentation and follow protocols for patient safety.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active RN license (New York or compact eligible).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
Minimum 2 years' recent PACU or critical care experience.
Strong post-op assessment and airway management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
