Hours:
Monday–Friday, 08:00–4:30pm with occasional off‑shift and weekend rotation. Salary Range: $94,957.00 – $ (prorated based on hours worked).
- Participate in orientation/onboarding of new staff.
- Obtain and maintain certification to teach BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BTR.
- Participate in the ANCC CE Provider Unit at Albany Medical Center.
- Educate, support, coach, and role‑model professional nursing practice.
- Develop evidence‑based learning.
- Participate in new product roll‑outs.
- Collaborate with educators and leaders across AMC to ensure successful transition of new staff.
- Support innovation, quality, safety, and patient experience through participation in meetings, work groups, and focus groups across AMC.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing – required.
- Graduate of a School of Nursing – strongly preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State – required.
- Matriculated into a Master's Degree in Nursing program with evidence of completion within 2 years of hire – required.
- Master's degree in Nursing – strongly preferred.
- BLS certification – required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP instructor – preferred.
