St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) Medical Associates is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient Medical Oncology/Hematology service in Albany and Troy, New York. The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with collaborating Hematologist-Oncologists and a dedicated inpatient cancer care team to deliver comprehensive oncology and hematology services to hospitalized patients.
Position Details- Full‑time outpatient Advanced Practice Provider role
- Dedicated inpatient consult service with hospitalists admitting patients and APPs managing care
- Manage patients admitted for active cancer treatment, complications of malignancy, or treatment‑related issues
- Collaborate closely with a Hematologist‑Oncologist and interdisciplinary care team
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week - Join a respected Medical Oncology/Hematology program with a strong regional reputation
- Multidisciplinary care model including medical oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, hospital medicine, and supportive services
- Opportunity to develop expertise in complex inpatient oncology and hematology care
- Access to breast navigation, tumor boards, cancer support groups, and cancer registry programs
- Patient‐centered approach supported by strong clinical and system resources through St’Peter’s Health Partners
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Previous experience in oncology or cancer care is preferred; new graduates with an interest in oncology/hematology are encouraged to apply
- NYS license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes a competitive base salary range of $136,203–$152,547 commensurate with experience, a $5,000 starting bonus paid in the first payroll month, CME and professional development support, and additional performance‑related incentives and benefits as applicable.
